About Us

New Panvel Upasana Centre(E)

Through the divine grace of the revered Param Pujya Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu, the sacred journey of Upasana commenced at our center in the year of 2000. In its nascent phase, a humble gathering of 15-20 devout shraddhawans gathered for the Upasana, a gathering that has since blossomed into a vibrant community of 125-150 devoted souls who continue to participate in this spiritual practice.

It is solely through the boundless compassion and unwavering love of our cherished Dad, that our center received the blessed privilege of being officially registered on the sacred occasion of Aniruddha Pournima in the year 2007.

With hearts overflowing with gratitude, we humbly bow and exclaim "Ambadnya!"

Importance of Mass Prayer :-

Aniruddha Bapu's upasanas are held on a saturday or sunday in most parts of the world. Bapu had told us that the samuhik upasana or collective praying is very important. He gave us various instances to help us better understand the reason to come together and pray .

Lets say hypothetically  1 person prays he gets 20 gm of punya or good deed. But if 10 people pray together, each of them get 10 x 20 = 200 of punya or good will. Bapu also gave us the example of other religions , he said other communities pray together once a week and on important dates the Catholics participate in sunday mass, the Muslims get together every Friday for namaz the Jewish people also visit their synagogue to pray on the Sabbath.
Praying together increases the amount of pure vibrations created as a result of chanting mantras.
If an individual is mentally stressed he/she is not able to concentrate while praying alone. Hence the chanting may be affected. However in a group, even if one can't concentrate, chanting in the background individual subconsciously absorb it.

The Upasana Centres gently teach bhakti by following the practice of collective praying. All gather together at the various centres and perform the collective upasana based on the Sadguru’s principles.
The benefits of collective upasana are as under:
One receives more positive vibes and the impact is greater when one prays in a group rather than alone

We can concentrate and focus much better when praying with others as one tends to get distracted or lose attention when praying by oneself
When I pray collectively, I am praying for myself as well as for others and thus the prayers reach the five elements of nature and the Lord much faster
The practice of collective upasana builds unity in society and also strengthens it spiritually. Collective praying at the Upasana Centres thus builds and strengthens both the individual as well as the nation.

Immediately after the upasana a short discourse (pravachan) of Sadguru Bapu is relayed. Through His simple, sweet and flowing language He explains various ways in which we can make ourselves mentally and physically strong. His discourses elaborate the importance and ways of doing bhakti which even a common man can understand and practice easily.
Sadguru Bapu’s discourses are pots full of nectar which are distributed freely and in ample quantity equally to all. We can find solutions to any and all of our problems and sufferings by simply listening to His solutions and following the path of collective upasana.

It's also important that we come for the upasana dressed well as it is a time when we come to meet the most important person in our life ~ our God, our Sadguru. Our clothes must reflect our respect and joy in meeting him and conversing with him through our chanting and prayers. Similarly we must observe decorum in our behaviour and conduct and keep the atmosphere calm and pious.
